Bishkek, Jan. 18, 2022 . / Kabar /. 2,663 traffic accidents were registered in the Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek, in which 3,396 people were injured and 64 died, the Police Patrol Service reported Tuesday.
Of these,
- 1,346 are pedestrian collisions;
- 987 cases of collisions;
- 146 cases of falling of a passenger in public transport;
- 116 cases of hitting an obstacle.
"Statistics also show that the largest number of accidents involve pedestrians. Therefore, we urge pedestrians to cross the road only when they see that there are no cars on the road, especially minors accompanied by adults," the report said.
