Bishkek, June 7, 2022. /Kabar/. 65 cases of quarantine pests were revealed in Kyrgyzstan in five months of 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture of the republic reported.
According to the data, the main objectives of quarantine phytosanitary examination are the detection and identification of quarantine objects and regulated non-quarantine pests.
Thus, laboratories of the republic received 5 thousand 704 samples of agricultural products, including 1 thousand 968 samples from export agricultural products, 2 thousand 837 samples from imported agricultural products, research samples - 796, on request samples - 103.
“As a result of conducted researches, 65 cases of quarantine pests were revealed,” the report said.
