Over 65% of Kyrgyzstanis vaccinated against COVID-19 feel well: Health Ministry

Bishkek, April 14, 2021 . / Kabar / . As of April 13, the total number of people who have received the COVID-19 vaccine is 2,705, all of them feel satisfactory, the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Health Ministry reported.

According to the ministry, 65.45% of those vaccinated feel well, 9.03% have headache, 4% note fever, 12.30% complain of weakness, and slight dizziness is observed in 3.90% of Kyrgyzstanis.

All symptoms are observed in the first 1-2 days after receiving the coronavirus vaccine.

On March 29, a vaccination against COVID-19 coronavirus vaccine started in Kyrgyzstan.

75 thousand people are planned to be vaccinated in Kyrgyzstan in the first phase of vaccination with Chinese Sinopharm vaccine.

The first phase of the vaccination will cover medical workers with a high and very high risk of infection, working in the red zone, family medical groups; medical workers of emergency ambulances, intensive care units with a high risk of developing severe forms of illness or death; employees of educational organizations, employees of law enforcement and security agencies.

Kyrgyzstan has deployed COVID-1 vaccination centers in all its regions on Family Medicine Centers.
