662 new cases of coronavirus infection identified in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, July 31, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s total number of coronavirus infection has reached 35,805 after 662 new cases were added Friday.

Head of the Public Health Department of the country’s Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova reported that among the new cases, 25 are medical workers, total at 2,768; and 1,714 of them have recovered.

As of July 31, another 1,052 cases of recovery from coronavirus infection, including community-acquired pneumonia were registered throughout Kyrgyzstan.

Thus, nationwide recoveries from COVID-19 have climbed to 25,526.

Ainura Akmatova also reported 14 virus-related deaths, raising the country’s death toll to 1,378.

"Currently, there are 8,966 patients in hospitals inpatient centers of the republic. Of these, 3,413 are patients with laboratory-confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19, and 5,553 are patients with community-acquired pneumonia," the representative of the Health Ministry added.
