667 new coronavirus cases identified in Uzbekistan in past day

Tashkent, July 25, 2020. /Kabar/. As of July 25, Uzbekistan’s total confirmed coronavirus cases have climbed to 19,653, the press service of the Health Ministry reported.

Over the past 24 hours, 667 new cases were identified, 600 nationwide recoveries and 3 deaths were registered.

Additional quarantine restrictions were introduced in Uzbekistan from July 13 to Aug.1.

On July 18, medical organizations of the republic started accepting patients without COVID-19 testing. Ambulance services will also provide assistance to patients without waiting for the coronovirus test results.

In Central Asian republic, 10,472 (54%) people have cured of COVID-19 since the outbreak of the virus, 106 patients have died.

There are 9,074 patients undergoing treatment. Of these, 138 patients are in serious condition, state of 40 of them assessed as extremely serious.
