Bishkek, Sept. 2, 2021. / Kabar /. 14,984 Kyrgyzstanis were vaccinated against COVID-19 coronavirus infection in the past day, 4,444 of them received the first doze and 10,540 of them received the second shot.
The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 reported on Thursday that a total of 685,718 coronavirus vaccine jabs had been administered in Kyrgyzstan.
Kyrgyzstan has started COVID-19 vaccination campaign on March 29 using China-donated Sinopharm vaccine. The vaccination is carried out twice, with an interval of 25-28 days. No side effects have been reported after immunization with this vaccine.
In addition, the Central Asia country received Sputnik V vaccine from Russia in April and Astra Zeneca in July.
