6th World Media Summit kicks off in China

Bishkek, Oct. 14, 2024. /Kabar/. The 6th World Media Summit has started its work in Urumqi city in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China.

More than 500 representatives from 208 leading media outlets, government departments and other institutions from 106 countries and regions of the world, as well as UN agencies and other international organizations are taking part in the event.

The Summit is dedicated to the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Media Transformation”.

The event is organized by China's Xinhua News Agency and the XUAR People's Government.

Director of the Kabar Kyrgyz National News Agency Mederbek Shermetaliev is also taking part in the 6th World Media Summit.
