Bishkek, Jan.15, 2020. /Kabar/. Yesterday, Jan. 14 a traffic accident occurred on the Orenburg-Samara highway of Russia, Orenburg Media reported.
According to the portal, two trucks loaded with cars and Honda minivans collided on the Samara highway near Buzuluk. A video recording of the accident scene appeared in social networks.
Driver of one of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter heavy trucks was towing the second truck. Both trucks were carrying one Opel car each. The driver of the first car, an Uzbek citizen, drove out on the opposite lane and collided with a minivan, the press service of the regional Internal Affairs Department said.
As a result , the driver and seven Honda Stepwgn passengers - Kyrgyz citizens - were injured. Three of them were taken to the ICU and five- to the surgical department of the Buzuluk District Hospital.
"Employees of the General Administration for Traffic Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are conducting an inspection, after which a procedural decision will be made," the report said.
