Bishkek, Apr. 20, 2020. /Kabar/. 7 medical workers in Naryn Oblast have been infected with COVID-19 coronavirus infection, Naryn Oblast Governor Emilbek Alymkulov said at news briefing.
"New cases of infection are detected in people under observation. The number of contacts is 666 citizens, 1,149 are under home quarantine," he said.
Alymkulov added separate places for observation have been prepared for physicians.
A hotel and kindergartens have been rented for this purpose.
In Naryn Oblast, COVID-19 has been detected in 68 citizens. Six people have been discharged, another one is preparing to be discharged today.
As of Apr. 20, 14 more cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Kyrgyzstan, taking the total to 568.
140 of them are medical workers.
201 patients have recovered and been discharged home across the country, seven have died.
A state of emergency has been imposed in the cities of Bishkek, Osh, Dzhalal-Abad, and Naryn towns, as well as Nookat and Kara-Suu regions of Osh Oblast, Suzak region of Dzhalal-Abad Oblast and At-Bashy region of Naryn Oblast until Apr. 30.
Movement for all citizens, except for those who are issued with a pass, namely internal affairs officers and medical and civil servants, is limited between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. (night time). A curfew is established.
