Bishkek, Sept. 2, 2024. / Kabar/. An accident involving 5 cars occurred in Kyrgyzstan on September 1 at 15:20 on the 51st km of the Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart highway.
The press service of the GUOBDD, the cause of the major accident was an exploded tire on a Subaru, which was traveling at high speed.
The car then drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus. Another minibus, a Toyota Camry and a Toyota Voxy were also involved in the accident.
As a result of the emergency, 7 people died, 6 people were injured.
A forensic examination has been ordered, and an investigation is underway.
