Bishkek, Oct. 22, 2024. /Kabar/. The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) continues to invest in the development of Kyrgyzstan's dairy industry, contributing to strengthening food security and expanding the country's export potential.

The Fund’s press service reported that on Aug. 30 this year, President Sadyr Zhaparov launched the work of the new modernized plant Ak-Bulak Plus in Issyk-Kul Oblast, where the Fund allocated $1.3 million to upgrade production.

With the support of the Fund, Ak Bulak Plus LLP purchased equipment for cheese whey processing with a capacity of 10 thousand l/h and modernization of milk processing equipment with a capacity of 15 thousand l/h.

Thus, the enterprise was able to expand its production capacity, increasing milk intake more than twice - from 8 to 15 tons per hour. This made it possible to attract 7 thousand farms, which now have access to stable sales of products.

The modernized plant now produces up to 5 tons of butter and 2 tons of cheese per day. In addition, production of dried whey, which is in demand in the confectionery and dairy industries, has been launched.

“At the moment, for milk and dairy products, we almost 100% provide the country with our own production. Finished products are also exported to Kazakhstan, Russia and other member states of the Eurasian Economic Union,” Chairman of the RKDF Board Artem Novikov emphasized.

105 new jobs were created during the modernization of the Ak Bulak Plus dairy plant.
