Bishkek, Sept. 30, 2021 . / Kabar / . As of Sept. 1, 2021 the number of pension recipients in Kyrgyzstan was 709.7 thousand people, Chairman of the Social Fund of the republic Zhanybek Orozaliyev said during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
Total income of the Social Fund, according to preliminary data, in January-August amounted to KGS 40 billion 476 million, growth made KGS 4 billion 906.9 million compared to the same period of last year.
"The total amount of insurance premiums amounted to KGS 24 billion 753.1 million, or KGS 653.1 million more than the established plan. Compulsory allocations from the republican budget for pension payments to the military, payment of pensions and allowances to pensions, compensation payments for electricity in January-August 2021 were received in the amount of KGS 15 billion 501.1 million,” the chairman of the Social Fund of Kyrgyzstan added.
According to preliminary data, expenditures of the Social Fund for January-August 2021 totaled KGS 39 billion 663 million, of which KGS 33 billion 259.9 million were spent on pensions, KGS 1 billion 685 million – the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund and KGS 135.2 million - Workers' Sanitation Fund. The Social Fund budget for the reporting period was executed with a surplus of KGS 815.7 million.
