Bishkek, Aug. 17, 2022 / Kabar /. A 71-year-old woman in Bishkek wrested her handbag from a robber but got a fracture of collarbone, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
An unknown man aged about 30-35 attacked an old woman in Bishkek on July 24, 2022, at about 16:30, with the aim of robbing her.
When the pensioner was entering the house, the intruder ran up and tried to grab the bag, but the old woman managed to win it back. But then she fell to the ground and received a concussion, bruises, and a fracture of a collarbone, the report said.
The robber fled the scene, and the victim born in 1951 was sent to the hospital.
The 28 years old suspect, who had previously been prosecuted several times for theft from cars, is detained and placed in the investigative ward. Now his involvement in other similar crimes is being checked.
