715 villages and 21 cities in Kyrgyzstan to be provided with clean drinking water until 2024

Bishkek, June 22, 2020 / Kabar /. Until 2024, it is planned to provide clean drinking water to 715 villages and 21 cities, Saipidin Momunov, deputy director of the State Agency for Water Resources, said at a briefing in the Government House.

He said that it is also planned to carry out sewage in problem cities of the country.

“In addition, it is planned to upgrade the water supply system that was built in the last century in 448 villages. For all this, it is planned to spend KGS 68 billion, of which today more than KGS 32 billion have already been spent,” Momunov said.
