719 new COVID-19 cases reported in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, July 12, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported 719 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Sunday raising the total number of infections to 10,629.

The republican headquarters on COVID-19 reported that among the newly infected 127 are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 1,656, including 552 recoveries, the report said.

According to the headquarters, 151 patients have been discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours after showing improvement, so far 3,387 people have been recovered in the country.

According to the report, 7 patients have died over the past day, taking the death toll to 132.

Meanwhile, 670 people remained hospitalized, 24 patients are in intensive care.

In addition, 6,440 asymptomatic patients are in home quarantine.

2,479 laboratory tests were conducted in the country in the last 24 hours.
