75 new coronavirus cases identified in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, March 23, 2021 . / Kabar /. In the past day, 75 more cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection were revealed in Kyrgyzstan, Ainura Akmatova, the head of the Public Health Department said at a briefing on Tuesday.

Thus, a total of 87,537 COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic since the beginning of the pandemic.

Number of nationwide recoveries from the respiratory disease has reached 84,274 after 51 more Kyrgyzstanis have recovered in the last 24 hours.

No new death from coronavirus was recorded, the death toll stands at 1,490.

4,220 medical workers have contracted the coronavirus since the outbreak of the virus, and 4,195 of them have cured.

Currently, 459 patients with diagnosis of COVID-19 coronavirus infection are receiving treatment in hospitals across Kyrgyzstan, and 367 people are being treated at home.

Ainura Akmatova added 2,571 PCR analysis were conducted in the past day.
