Bishkek, Oct. 7, 2020 /Kabar/. In two days, 768 patients injured by protest actions in Bishkek were admitted to health facilities, Kabar Agency has learnt from the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Health Ministry.
1 of them (man,19) died, 218 patients were hospitalized and 7 are in intensive care.
Also 550 people are on outpatient treatment.
"At present, health-care institutions provide appropriate medical care, organize medical consultations and provide medicines," the press service said.
The protest action against the results of the parliamentary elections has begun Monday on the central square of Bishkek at about 12 a.m. local time. The participants of the action - the leaders of the losing parties demanded to annul the voting results of the parliamentary elections.
The protest action resulted in clashes between security officers and protesters.
The police used tear gas, flash grenades, rubber bullets and a water cannon to disperse the protesters.
The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan declared invalid the voting results in the parliamentary elections, which took place on Oct. 4, 2020.
