79.09% of voters vote for new Constitution: results of manual counting

Bishkek, April 14, 2021 . / Kabar / . 79.09% of voters voted for the new Constitution in the referendum. The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan published the data of manual counting from all polling stations.

Thus, according to the CEC data, 36.17% of voters participated in the referendum.

13.83% of voters voted against the adoption of the new Constitution.

In Kyrgyzstan, the constitutional referendum took place on April 11, 2021.

The turnout at the referendum made 36.75%.

A referendum to determine the form of government in Kyrgyzstan was held on Jan. 10 of this year, along with the early presidential elections. Then the presidential form of government was supported by 81.49 percent of voters. After that, a constitutional counsel was created, which developed a new draft of the Constitution.
