8.4 thsd individual houses put into operation in Kyrgyzstan year-to-date

Bishkek, Dec.30, 2024. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, 8.4 thousand individual houses with a total area of 1 086.4 thousand square meters were commissioned since the beginning of the year, the National Statistical Committee of the republic reported.

Thus, this figure is 22.7% compared to January-November 2023.

Commissioning of individual residential houses increased in all regions of the country, except Batken and Osh Oblasts.

KGS 251.8 million of investment in fixed capital was used on the construction of individual houses in January-November 2024, which is 1.4 times more than in January-November 2023. The share of funds utilized for individual housing construction in the total volume of utilized investments amounted to 13.6% (15% in January-November 2023).

The main share of commissioned individual housing (75.4 percent of the total volume) fell on Jalal-Abad, Chui, Osh Oblasts, as well as Bishkek.

In rural areas, 704 thousand square meters of individual housing were commissioned, or 64.8 percent of the total volume of commissioning.
