KGS 8.7M received on account for fight against COVID-19, we will ensure transparency: Deputy PM Asrandiyev

Bishkek, March 23, 2020./Kabar/. KGS 8 million 702 thousand were received on the special account of the Ministry of Finance to combat COVID-19 coronavirus infection, Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Erkin Asrandiyev said during a briefing at the Government House.

According to him, donations are made by ordinary citizens, business representatives.

"Not a single som has been spent from these collected funds. The expenses from this account will be agreed with the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament). Also, we will ensure transparency of expenses, and the public will be given a report once a week," Asrandiyev said.
