Bishkek, Oct. 31, 2017 / Kabar /. On the day of presidential elections, about 80,000 hacker attacks were committed to the server of the Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan, chairwoman of the CEC of Kyrgyzstan Nurzhan Shaildabekova told.
She said that, from 1 to 14 October there were 39 thousand 800 attempts of hacker attacks, but all of them were unsuccessful.
"Our system works reliably. On the voting day there were about 80 thousand attacks. And the peak of these attacks fell at 21:05 pm, when we recorded 18,380 attempts to hack the system simultaneously. According to preliminary analysis, these attempts were from 26 countries around the world. But our system is reliably protected," she said.
Shaildabekova noted that all these attacks were highly risky.
