As a result of 2021, 868 people died in road accidents in Kyrgyzstan, 114 of whom were children, Head of the Main Department for Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Azamat Israilov said during a plenary session of the Jogorku Kenesh on Thursday.
He noted that a total of 7,437 accidents were registered, and 11,357 people were injured.
"In 90-95% of accidents, the human factor is to blame," Israilov said.
