Bishkek, April 20, 2021 . / Kabar / . Over the last 24 hours, 173 more people beat COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Minister of Health Zhalalidin Rakhmatullayev said during a briefing Tuesday.
Thus, the nationwide number of recoveries from the novel coronavirus has climbed to 87,229.
The deputy health minister also added that the country’s tally of infections has reached 92,320 after an overnight registration of 225 new cases.
The novel coronavirus has claimed lives of 2 more patients, taking the death toll to 1,557.
1,236 patients with COVID-19 are being treated in hospitals, including 49 in intensive care units, while another 1,324 patients are receiving treatment at home.
A total of 5,020 lab tests were conducted in the country over the past day.
