877 new COVID-19 cases revealed in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, July 25, 2020. /Kabar/. Over the past 24 hours, 877 new cases of coronavirus infection were revealed in Kyrgyzstan, Head of the Public Health Department of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova told Saturday.

A total of 32,124 cases of COVID-19 and community-acquired pneumonia were registered in the republic since the outbreak of virus.

Among the new cases, 53 are medical workers’ contamination, total now at 2,633, including 1,035 recoveries.

As of July 25, number of nationwide cases of recovery has climbed to 1,165, bringing this figure to 19,203 since the beginning of the pandemic.

The representative of the Health Ministry also reported 38 more deaths, related to COVID-19, thus republic’s death toll stands at 1,249.

Currently, 12,072 Kyrgyzstanis are receiving treatment at hospitals and inpatients centers, 5,768 of them are patients with clinically confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19, and 6 thousand 32 patients with community-acquired pneumonia.
