Bishkek, Sept. 10, 2024. / Kabar/. The 8th International Economic Forum "Issyk-Kul 2024" has started in the Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan.
The event is organized by the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The forum will serve as a platform for building a constructive dialogue between representatives of the business communities of Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia, Uzbekistan and a number of other countries, which in the future will mark the beginning of the implementation of interesting and significant projects.
The areas of work will touch upon such areas of cooperation as energy, agriculture, industry, healthcare, education, hotel and restaurant business, architecture and construction (engineering), information technology, logistics and international transportation.
Given the wide composition of the delegations, domestic entrepreneurs are provided with a unique opportunity to establish partnerships and expand the circle of reliable partners among representatives of the business sector.
Director of the National Investment Agency Talantbek Imanov, the forum has proven itself as an effective and sustainable platform for combining efforts and developing new partnerships in order to strengthen economic and social ties between the countries and regions participating in the Silk Road initiative.
"The Kyrgyz Republic pays special attention to the issue of attracting investment as a key factor in sustainable economic growth and development. Attracting international and private investment is considered a priority task, since it contributes to the modernization of infrastructure, the development of strategically important industries, the creation of new jobs and improving the standard of living of the population. To achieve these goals, the country's leadership is actively working to create a favorable investment climate, introducing the necessary reforms and legislative initiatives," said Talantbek Imanov.
