Bishkek, Dec. 25, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan has announced on Saturday that 9,540 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered in the past 24 hours.
The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that of these, 4,971 people were vaccinated with the first dose, while the second shot was given to 4,569 people.
The total number of doses provided up to today stands at 1,211,407 while 997,496 people have been completely vaccinated.
Kyrgyzstan started the vaccination campaign on March 29, 2020. The country is inoculating its citizens with Sinopharm, Sputnik-V, Sputnik-Light, Astra Zeneca, Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
In total, 184,439 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Kyrgyzstan since the pandemic, 179,545 of them have recovered, 2,792 people have died.
