Bishkek, Dec. 18, 2021 . / Kabar/ . 9,558 more Kyrgyzstanis received their doses of coronavirus vaccine in the last 24 hours, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said.
According to the report, 4,335 people were vaccinated with the first dose, while 5,223 Kyrgyzstanis were given the second shot.
The total number of doses provided up to today stands at 1,183,224 while 969,457 people have been completely vaccinated.
Kyrgyzstan started the vaccination campaign on March 29, 2020. The country is inoculating its citizens with Sinopharm, Sputnik-V, Sputnik-Light, Astra Zeneca, Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. In addition, the country received on Tuesday 1.5 million doses of Sinopharm vaccine from China as a humanitarian aid.
