Bishkek, May 18, 2018 / Kabar /. 9 thousand 641 crimes were registered in Kyrgyzstan for 4 months of 2018, Kursan Asanov, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs told at a press conference at Kabar Agency.
"The main part of the crimes - stealing someone else's property 43% and fraud - 13%. As part of the reform, new criteria for assessing the activity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been defined, as a result, we observe an increase in crime," he said.
He said that out of 13 thousand 852 crimes, 6,388 were disclosed, 2,87 thousand cases were suspended as not disclosed.
"For 4 months of 2018, the Service for Combating Extremism and Illegal Migration identified 571 (514) crimes, 334 (198) criminal cases were instituted. A total of 6,541 (5372) persons were identified who committed crimes, 4470 (4616) people were brought to criminal account, including 865 women (679)," he added.
