Bishkek, Dec. 23, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan’s Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 has announced on Thursday that 9,617 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were given in the past 24 hours.
Of these, 4,866 people were vaccinated with the first dose, while the second shot was given to 4,751 people.
The total number of doses provided up to today stands at 1,200,962 while 988,457 people have been completely vaccinated.
Kyrgyzstan started the vaccination campaign on March 29, 2020. The country is inoculating its citizens with Sinopharm, Sputnik-V, Sputnik-Light, Astra Zeneca, Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. In addition, the country received on Tuesday 1.5 million doses of Sinopharm vaccine from China as a humanitarian aid.
