Bishkek, July 28, 2020 ./Kabar/. Nine passengers of S7 Airlines flight on the Bishkek – Novosibirsk route received a positive COVID-19 analysis result, Head of the Territorial Department of Rospotrebnadzor (the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing) Alexander Shcherbatov said at an operational meeting in the regional government.
"Upon arrival, they were placed under observation, a research was conducted on July 23. Nine of them had tested positive, they are asymptomatic, but, nevertheless, all activities are carried out. This is a barrier measure for today, so that asymptomatic people who have arrived from abroad by export flights don't enter Novosibirsk Region," Shcherbatov said.
