Bishkek, May 1, 2020 / Kabar /. Today there are 9 laboratories in Kyrgyzstan, 3 of which are mobile, director of the Department of State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision Abdykadyr Zhoroev said on Friday at news briefing.
He said that more than 30 employees work in them.
“The laboratories carry out analyzes of contact persons. The work is ongoing,” he said.
In addition, Zhoroev said that in Kyrgyzstan today there are 45 thousand PCR tests in stock.
“Also, as a humanitarian aid, 10 thousand PCR tests are expected to come from China, 100 thousand from Belarus and 60 thousand from Turkey,” he added.
In total 117 thousand rapid tests for the diagnosis of coronavirus infection COVID-19 were purchased in Kyrgyzstan, Zhoroev said.
More than 70 thousand tests have already been used. “These rapid tests are used to screen drivers of heavy vehicles, people who work in close contact with the population, he added.
