9 more medical workers contracted coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 4, 2020. /Kabar/. As of 10:00 a.m. on May 4, 9 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 among physicians have been detected in Kyrgyzstan, Ainura Akmatova, Head of the Public Health Department of Kyrgyzstan’s Health Ministry said during a briefing.

Of these, 6 have been revealed in Bishkek, 2 in Dzhalal-Abad Oblast and 1 in Naryn Oblast.

In total, Kyrgyzstan has 216 cases of novel coronavirus among medical workers, 139 of whom have cured and discharged from hospitals.

35 more cases of coronavirus infection have been revealed in Kyrgyzstan on Monday, bringing the total to 830.

575 citizens have cured and discharged from hospitals. 10 have passed away, one of which was a physician.
