According to data of the Ministry of Health, in May of this year as a whole, 9.6 thousand laboratory and clinically-epidemiologically confirmed cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have been registered in the republic.

In May of this year about 60% of the registered cases of coronavirus infection fell on the city of Bishkek, about 23 percent - in Chui Oblast.

The number of cases per 100 thousand of the population in May of this year in comparison with April increased by 1.3 times, and compared with March - 4.1 times.
