Bishkek, Feb. 20, 2024. /Kabar/. 99 citizens of Kyrgyzstan were repatriated from the Middle East to their homeland, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
They arrived today: 28 of them were women and 71 were minors.
The next humanitarian mission “Aikol-5” to return repatriates located in special camps in northeast Syria was organized with the support of the government of the United States of America, the press service of the foreign policy department said.
The Kyrgyz side expresses special gratitude to the American side and international partners for the full assistance provided in conducting the special operation and logistical support for the successful implementation of the fifth major campaign for the repatriation of citizens remaining in a difficult situation.
