Kyrgyzstani infected with coronavirus in Pakistan

Bishkek, March 23, 2020./Kabar/. A Kyrgyz citizen born in 1963 is among those infected with coronavirus in Pakistan, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan said on Monday.

According to preliminary information, this citizen, together with four other Kyrgyz citizens (born in 1960, 1978, 1960 and 1996) stayed on the territory of Pakistan for the purpose of religious missionary work - davaat.

These citizens are not on the consular register, they did not apply to the Kyrgyz Embassy in Pakistan for help.

At present the sick citizen is placed in Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Islamabad hospital, the other four Kyrgyzstanis are under quarantine.

The Kyrgyz Embassy in Pakistan is in constant contact with the Islamabad administration and the law enforcement agencies of the host country.
