Bishkek, Feb.28, 2020. /Kabar/. Analyses of a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic who was on the Diamond Princess cruise ship in Japan showed positive results for coronavirus, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Nurlan Abdrakhmanov told reporters.
He added the Kyrgyzstani was hospitalized in Japan with suspicion of coronavirus.
"Studies of his tests the day before yesterday showed positive results. He has a mild coronavirus, fever, cough, no sore throat,” the deputy foreign minister said.
Nurlan Abdrakhmanov noted the Kyrgyz Embassy is in constant contact with the compatriot, the situation is under control.
