Bishkek, March 27, 2018. / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Erlan Abdyldayev met with Mevlut Cavusoglu, the Foreign Minister of Turkey, within the framework of participation in the Tashkent Conference on Afghanistan, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on topical issues of the Kyrgyz-Turkish relations, discussed the issues of the nearest and medium-term prospects of mutual cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkey.
The sides reaffirmed the mutual spirit of further development of multilateral cooperation in the spirit of strategic partnership.
As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached to intensify interstate political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation, through mutual visits of interdepartmental delegations and the regular meeting of the joint Kyrgyz-Turkish commission on trade, economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.
