Bishkek, Sept. 28, 2018. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs Erlan Abdyldaev held bilateral meetings with Foreign Ministers of Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary and Slovakia on the sidelines of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
During the meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria Ekaterina Zakharieva, issues of bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Bulgaria, as well as prospects for its development in areas of mutual interest were discussed.
In particular, the sides spoke on the issues of organization of mutual visits, the expansion of bilateral relations in the political, trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
Within the framework of the meeting with the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dacic, an exchange of views took place on the status and prospects for the development of cooperation in various fields. The sides noted the positive dynamics of development of bilateral relations in recent years and expressed their readiness for further strengthening of cooperation through bilateral cooperation and within the framework of international organizations.
During the conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó, a constructive discussion of topical issues of further bilateral cooperation, as well as the results of the official visit of the Prime Minister of Hungary V. Orban to Kyrgyzstan took place.
The proximity of positions on the main problems of the global agenda was underlined, and the sides expressed readiness for further strengthening of bilateral relations.
During the meeting with Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia Miroslav Lajcak, topical issues of cooperation along the lines of international organizations, as well as issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed.
The sides expressed readiness for further strengthening of bilateral relations, discussed a wide range of issues on the international agenda.
