Bishkek, Oct. 7, 2021 . / Kabar / . As of the morning of Oct. 7, about 100 Kyrgyz citizens are stuck at Sheremetyevo International Airport, the press service of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Russia reported.
The long pass is related to the verification activities conducted by the Border Service of the Federal Security Service of Russia.
Three employees of the Kyrgyz Embassy were sent to the airport to assist Kyrgyz citizens.
The Russian Border Service reports that in connection with previously identified individual cases of personal data change by citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who are not allowed to enter Russia, measures to stop such violations by Kyrgyz citizens have been strengthened.
In addition, as part of the verification measures, persons are checked for involvement in organizations that are banned on the territory of Russia.
