About 100 medics from regions to arrive in capital to help fight COVID-19

Bishkek, July 2, 2020. /Kabar/. About 100 medical workers from four oblasts will arrive in Bishkek to help fight COVID-19 coronavirus infection, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov said.

Medics are expected to arrive today and tomorrow from Issyk-Kul, Dzhalal-Abad and other oblasts.

In addition, Boronov noted as the personnel issue is acute today, there are short-term training courses for medical professionals, which began a month ago.

"The first 20 retrained medics have been sent to the Gansi base, where beds are organized. In addition, residents, interns and undergraduate students are being recruited from universities," he said.
