About 100 thsd tree seedlings, 2 mln flowers to be planted in Osh this year

Osh, Feb.6, 2020. /Kabar/. In order to green the city of Osh, about 200 juniper seedlings have been planted along one of the city’s streets.

Osh Mayor Taalaibek Sarybashov, Chairman of the City Council Zhaparbek Ormonov, heads of relevant municipal organizations and local residents took part in planting the seedlings.

800 seedlings of coniferous trees, 1500 seedlings of deciduous trees and 80 thousand shrubs are planned to be planted in 2020.

"We will pay special attention to gardening and improvement of the city. About 2 million flower seedlings, including 10 thousand tulips, will be planted in Osh in this spring.

In addition, about 20 thousand tree seedlings will be separately planted by municipal territorial administrations,” Osh Mayor Taalaibek Sarybashov noted.
