About 200 children receive Christmas gifts - Red Crescent concludes its campaign

Bishkek, Dec. 17, 2018. /Kabar/. As part of the New Year's “Give Joy to Children” campaign, the Red Crescent of Kyrgyzstan congratulated children from low-income families on the upcoming New Year holidays.

168 children from residential areas Ak-Jar and Muras-Ordo received keremet (miracle) boxes.

Together with the KooKooMall trading site in Kyrgyzstan, a holiday concert was organized for the kids; Father Frost and Snow Maiden came to congratulate the children. Each child received a miracle box, in which there were sweets, booklets, drawing books and colored pencils, as well as a hygienic kit.

From November 15 to December 15, the Red Crescent of Kyrgyzstan announced a New Year's campaign “Give Joy to Children”. Over the entire period of the New Year campaign, the participants have collected so-called keremet boxes for children. A standard box contains a useful set of:

- Toothpaste;

- Toothbrush;

- Tissues/small towel;

- Baby soap;

- Drawing book / sketch book;

- Colored pencils / crayons / paints / felt-tip pens;

- Toy (car / doll / soft toy - no more than 15 cm long);

- Book / coloring book / nice notebook;

- Sweets (Kinder Eggs / chocolate, etc.);

- Socks / gloves or mittens.

Thus, the campaign partici[pants will congratulate 500 children with disabilities who do not go to school and kindergarten, children with serious illnesses who will celebrate the New Year in hospital departments, as well as children from low-income families in Bishkek and residential areas aged 3-14.

Helping children in need has become a good tradition for the Red Crescent of Kyrgyzstan. Every year it tries to bring a little kindness, miracle and joyful emotions into the life of children from poor people, needy families.
