Bishkek, Sept. 22, 2020 / Kabar /. About 200 thousand citizens have had COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan taking into account asymptomatic cases, Deputy Minister of Health Mademin Karataev told on the air of the state radio.

He said that such figures were calculated according to the methodology of the WHO and Rospotrebnadzor.

“But this does not guarantee that the person will not get sick again. It is still necessary to follow the epidemiological rules. Because the stamp of the virus can be different. Some citizens claim that they have had coronavirus without confirmation of EIA and PCR tests,” Karataev said.

To date, a total of 45,542 cases of infection have been registered in the country. 41,796 citizens have recovered. 1,063 people have died.
