About 305 thsd families in Kyrgyzstan receive humanitarian assistance

Bishkek, Apr. 26, 2020. /Kabar/. 304,649 families throughout Kyrgyzstan have been provided with humanitarian aid, the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development reported citing the Assistance Headquarters.

Daily food packages, which include flour, sugar, tea, vegetable oil, pasta, rice, groats, are distributed by volunteers to citizens in need.

According to the Headquarters, 63,880 families in Bishkek city, 57,440 in Chui Oblast, 89,269 in Osh Oblast, 39,053 in Dzhalal-Abad Oblast, 12,580 in Batken Oblast, 22,615 in Issyk-Kul Oblast, 10,329 in Naryn Oblast and 9,483 in Talas Oblast received assistance.

A total of 665 cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Kyrgyzstan, 345 recoveries and 8 deaths.
