Bishkek, Sept. 7, 2020 /Kabar/. About 350 villages in Osh Oblast are provided with clean drinking water, Governor Baiysh Yusupov told during a briefing Monday.
According to him, about 78% of the population in the region do not have access to clean drinking water.
"At present, the State Agency for Water Resourcesis working to provide all citizens of the republic with clean drinking water by 2023. Currently, about 350 villages are already provided with clean drinking water," he said.
The governor also added that about 140-150 villages will soon be provided with drinking water.
