Bishkek, Oct. 11, 2018. /Kabar/. The 5th Congress of Teachers and Education Workers of the CIS member states started in Bishkek on Thursday.
Over the next two days, about 400 teachers from Kyrgyzstan, from abroad will discuss the development of educational systems in the context of sustainable development goals.
The opening of the congress was held at Ala-Archa state residence, and then the participants of the breakout sessions will visit the universities and schools of the capital.
It is expected that the Congress will help create conditions for the development of integration processes, and actively search for new forms and mechanisms of interaction between the CIS member states in the field of education.
Within the framework of the Congress, the work of nine sessions will be organized on the following issues:
- Methodology for building competence-based education;
- Theory and practice of introducing educational standards;
- Formation of a safe educational environment;
- Out-of-school education;
- Early development and pre-school education;
- Development of all levels of vocational education;
- Introduction of national qualification systems.
Following the discussion of the above topics, the Congress will adopt a final resolution.
