About 5 thsd Kyrgyzstanis returned from abroad since March 20

Bishkek, Apr. 8, 2020. /Kabar/. Since March 20, 4 thousand 769 Kyrgyz citizens have returned to Kyrgyzstan on charter flights, First Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Kubatbek Boronov said at a briefing.

He added all the citizens returned are being placed under observation, and work on returning Kyrgyz citizens abroad is continuing.

Boronov said 360 Kyrgyzstanis in Turkey are expecting to return home, and 300 Kyrgyz citizens in Dubai.

"We have accurate information about Kyrgyzstanis in other countries, and the diplomatic missions are working in a reinforced regime. Every effort is being made to resolve these issues. At the same time, if you are quarantined in a foreign country, in order to preserve your health, please observe all requirements and sanitary regulations. We ask you to be patient until the airports resume operations," the deputy PM stressed.

In addition, Kyrgyzstan is helping other countries to remove their citizens from the Kyrgyz Republic.

"Flying out of Russian citizens’ from Kyrgyzstan is scheduled on Apr. 11, as well as the first part of our compatriots will be returned from Novosibirsk,” Boronov concluded.
