Bishkek, Dec.19, 2019. /Kabar/. About 600 thousand Kyrgyzstanis have not yet submitted biometric data, Chairman of the State Registration Service of the Kyrgyz Republic Almaz Mambetov said at the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He noted these are the people who went abroad.
“This number does not change, that is, it does not become more or less. At the same time, we are working with the regions to draw up a point list," Mambetov added.
The Citizen Biometric Database is fundamental part of the Unified State Register of Population (USRP), which enables to create up-to-date, quality and complete database on the country's population.
Qualitative and complete statistics on the country's population allows to increase the efficiency of decisions taken by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in the sphere of social, economic and anti-corruption policy and ensures national security.
