About 80% of Bishkek schoolchildren return to traditional mode

Bishkek, March 17, 2021 . / Kabar /. About 80% of schoolchildren of Bishkek have switched to the traditional mode of education.

Meerim Khalialdayeva, the press secretary of the Department of Education of Bishkek Mayor’s Office said that since Feb. 18 pupils of 1st, 5th, 9th, 11th grades have switched to offline learning, since March 9 - 2nd, 3rd, 4th grades.

"To date, a gradual launch of offline education is under way according to the algorithm developed by the Ministries of Education and Health of Kyrgyzstan. Each child has a small pocket sanitizer, also hand sanitizers are installed on the walls of all schools. Each child has two masks, one for public transport and one for school as a reserve. Today about 80% of children in Bishkek are being taught offline, the remaining 20% are studying online - this is done in order to maintain distance among students," said the specialist.

Also, Khalialdayeva added that according to the decision of the Headquarters of the Emergency Anti-Epidemiological Commission, every child in the capital is monitored, children are checked in schools and parents are informed, the situation is monitored and analyzed, if there is an outbreak class is transferred to online education.

In Kyrgyzstan, as of today, primary class pupils, as well as pupils of 5th, 9th and 11th are studying in a traditional offline mode.
