About KGS 10.7 bln allocated for country's public debt service for first 5 months of 2019

Bishkek, July 9, 2019. /Kabar/. About KGS 10.7 billion was allocated for servicing the state debt of the country for 5 months of 2019, the press service of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

According to its data, from January to May 2019, KGS 10 billion 684 million 246.6 thousand was allocated from the national budget to service the public debt (external and domestic), of which:

- On the public external debt - KGS 5 billion 627 million 830.8 thousand;

- On the public domestic debt – KGS 5 billion 56 million 415.9 thousand.

According to the Finance Ministry’s data, as of May 31, the total amount of public debt (external + domestic) is KGS 311 billion 102.22 million (USD 4 billion 453.86 million). Of these, KGS 264 billion 242.34 million ($ 3 billion 783 million) is the state external debt; KGS 46 billion 859.88 million ($ 670 miilion 86 thousand) is the public domestic debt.
